In Memory of Carol Cesario
Carol battled metastatic breast cancer for over four years with the support of her husband Sal and three children Bianca, Sam and Christopher. Carol's unwavering optimism and upbeat attitude made everyday with her special. Her ability to always look on the bright side and greet everyone with a smile made her a delight to be around, even in the toughest of times.
She enjoyed days on the beach with a book or magazine, and nights listening to Bruce Springsteen while roasting s'mores. Carol was known for her famous cheesecake and countless Christmas cookies.
Carol embodied the Christian spirit with her love and respect for everyone, especially during her time working at St. Benedict's Catholic School and Church.
The doctors, nurses and staff at MSK were so helpful and caring throughout her treatment, we would like to give back as much as possible. Carol benefited directly from the cutting edge research done by MSK and we couldn't be more grateful.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Carol to support cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Donors Fuel Progress
When you give to MSK, you're making a direct impact: from innovative research that can move newly discovered drugs into clinical trials, to the cancer treatment and care patients receive every day.
Fundraising efforts can lead to important and life-changing breakthroughs in cancer research—making it possible for scientists to overcome the hurdles of funding gaps. Philanthropy provides the tools they need to swiftly pursue promising research initiatives.
Every dollar brings more hope. Thank you!
