CANCER SURVIVORSHIP INITIATIVE

Rock & Run supports Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Cancer Survivorship Initiative. Continued progress against cancer has contributed to a steady rise in the number of cancer survivors -- more than 12 million are living in the U.S. today. The Cancer Survivorship Initiative was launched to meet the needs of this growing population by offering a full range of medical and psychosocial services guided by outstanding clinical research. As the first cancer center in the country to implement such a far-reaching program, Memorial Sloan-Kettering serves as a national model for providing ongoing care to cancer survivors. more
