ROCK & RUN

Enjoy the New Photos
On June 7, thousands of runners, walkers, survivors, and supporters joined together at Hudson River Park’s Pier 84 at our annual Rock & Run on the River celebration. Take a look at some of the great images from the event posted on our Photo & Video page. We hope you enjoy viewing the new Rock & Run team photo album, the 2009 photo album #1, and 2009 photo album #2. Feel free to share the link with friends and family. more

Support Survivorship
Although the event is over, there’s still time to support the cause. Rock & Run fundraising campaigns will remain open until August 31. Support MSKCC’s Cancer Survivorship Initiative by making a donation to the event or to a participant or team at www.rockandrunontheriver.org.

SURVIVORSHIP RESOURCES

Educational Webcast
View Coping with Fatigue After Cancer Treatment, an educational Webcast sponsored by MSK’s Post-Treatment Resource Program and Cancer Smart lecture series. In a series of videos, MSKCC psychiatrist William Breitbart discusses cancer-related fatigue -- its prevalence, contributing factors, treatment, and management. more

Survivorship Research
Researchers at MSKCC and around the country are investigating many aspects of survivorship, from pain management and medical follow-up to psychosocial issues to improve the lives of cancer survivors. Find the latest research results and learn about current research initiatives. more

New Issue of Bridges
Read the summer issue of Bridges, Memorial Sloan-Kettering's quarterly newsletter for survivors, written by survivors, now available online. The newsletter offers a forum where patients and their families can share stories of hope and inspiration as well as the challenges inherent in the cancer survivor's journey. more

Living Beyond Cancer Calendar
Check out the Living Beyond Cancer calendar for details about upcoming survivorship events and programs offered by Memorial Sloan-Kettering. more
