Larry Norton, M.D., Deputy Physician-in-Chief for Breast Cancer Programs at Memorial Sloan-Kettering, has received the National Physician of the Year Award, which "recognizes physicians and leaders in health care whose dedication, talents, and skills have improved the lives of countless thousands of people throughout the world." The honor was presented at Castle Connelly's annual Physician of the Year Awards ceremony in New York City on March 22.

Dr. Norton is Medical Director of the Breast and Imaging Center at Memorial Sloan-Kettering as well as the Norna S. Sarofim Chair of Clinical Oncology. He is an internationally recognized pioneer in understanding and treating breast cancer.
