Kids Walk Fund

The premier pediatric cancer walk in NYC, Kids Walk celebrated a banner year in 2015: over 2,500 participants raised more than $600,000, all for pediatric cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK). Every dollar counts—every person makes a difference.

Kids Walk for Kids with Cancer is dedicated to raising critical funds to develop more effective and less toxic treatments for children with cancer. While steady progress has been made in some forms of pediatric cancer, formidable challenges still exist. With more than 175,000 children diagnosed each year worldwide, it is imperative that new and better therapeutic options are developed.

Since its inception in 2001, Kids Walk has raised more than $3 million to support pediatric cancer research. One hundred percent of funds raised go directly to support innovative research underway within the Department of Pediatrics at MSK. Every single dollar brings us one step closer to our goal: eradicating childhood cancer, one child at a time.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children facing cancer.

Kids Walk Fund 2015

Every single dollar raised through Kids Walk—100 percent—goes directly to support the Department of Pediatrics at MSK. This includes support for ongoing clinical studies as well as essential research-related costs that enable our physician-scientists to develop new and innovative ideas. Thanks to the dedication of our Kids Walk participants and donors, funds raised in 2015 will help advance research for pediatric cancers at MSK.
