The Society funds and operates a remarkable array of programs and projects in the following three categories: patient care, cancer research, and education.

For more than 60 years, through the work of its volunteer and fundraising committees, The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center has funded and operated a broad array of programs in three integral categories: patient care, cancer research, and education.

In addition to fundraising events that help to support these programs, The Society raises funds through other projects that include the Annual Appeal, a personal letter-writing campaign; the new series of Society cookbooks including Park Avenue Potluck and Park Avenue Potluck CELEBRATIONS; and The Society-run Memorial Sloan-Kettering Thrift Shop.
