The Society funds and operates a remarkable array of programs and projects in the following three categories: patient care, cancer research, and education.

For more than 60 years, through the work of its volunteer and fundraising committees, The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center has funded and operated a broad array of programs in three integral categories: patient care, cancer research, and education.

In addition to fundraising events that help to support these programs, The Society raises funds through other projects that include the Annual Appeal, a personal letter-writing campaign and The Society-run Memorial Sloan-Kettering Thrift Shop.
