This spacious thrift shop on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is known for being the beneficiary of the highest quality donations of designer and vintage clothing, home furnishings, accessories, children's clothing, books, and artwork. It holds three much anticipated "openings" each year - spring, fall, and year-end holiday season.
For more than 55 years, the Thrift Shop has been a vital part of The Society's fundraising program, and has been at it's current location for over 20 years. Through sales of new and gently used designer merchandise, the Thrift Shop provides support for The Society's patient care, research and education programs at the Center.

How to Donate
Donations can be dropped off Monday through Sunday during business hours although there may be circumstances when the shop is unable to accept donations. Please call 212-535-1250 for further information.
We gladly accept:
- Men's and Women's Clothing
- Shoes
- Children's Clothing
- Handbags and Accessories
- Jewelry
- Furniture in Excellent Condition
- Housewares
- Books
- Records, DVD's, CD's
- Toys
We are unable to accept:
- Mattresses, Box Springs, or Futons
- Furniture in poor condition
- Children's carseats & cribs
- Electronics more than 3 years old
Free Furniture Pick-Ups
We offer free and convenient pick-up service for furniture donations. For specific pick-up guidelines and donation inquiries, please call 212-535-1250.
Tax deductible
All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.You will receive an itemized receipt in the mail containing estimates of the prices that we expect to obtain. Alternatively, you or your tax advisors can estimate the value of the donation. In either case, please consult your tax preparer for guidance on setting the tax-deductible amounts.
