JOIN THE BATTLE. Beat Rare Cancers.

WELCOME TO OUR TEAM'S PAGE!

We are riding and raising money for Cycle for Survival, the movement to beat rare cancers. More specifically, we are a riding to fundraise for Diane Reidy-Lagunes’ lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center – a lab that focuses their rare cancer research on Neuroendocrine cancer. In order to allocate the money we raise directly to neuroendocrine cancer research, our team needs to raise a minimum of $25,000. It’s a big goal, but we’re ready for the challenge. Will you help us reach (or even surpass) our fundraising goal?

We are specifically aiming to support Neuroendocrine cancer research in honor of Emily Mallia, who was diagnosed with NET in 2016 and continues to fight today.

While we’re fundraising specifically with Emily and NETs in mind, we haven’t lost sight of the bigger picture.

50% of People with Cancer Have a Rare Cancer
When combined, about half of all patients fighting cancer are fighting a rare cancer. These are cancers we know — such as leukemia, lymphoma, thyroid, ovarian, brain, pancreatic, and all pediatric cancers — yet research is largely underfunded.

100% Goes to Lifesaving Research Led by MSK
Whether or not we reach our goal and are able to allocate directly to NET research, we are confident that every dollar we raise will advance innovative studies and clinical trials led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). Discoveries made by MSK revolutionize how cancer is diagnosed and treated, helping patients across the country and around the world.

6 Months for Fast Impact
Not only does every dollar go to research, your gift will be in the hands of doctors and researchers within six months of the events. As a donor, you will learn about the projects supported and the breakthroughs made.
