JOIN THE BATTLE. GIVE TO BEAT RARE CANCERS.
A few summers ago, my brother Brad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Upon hearing the treatment options and the odds of survival, the doctor and Brad's wife were in tears. Brad calmly responded: "We're gonna win the day, every day."
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) has been a leader in research, diagnosis, and the treatment of cancer for decades. Since 50% of all cancers are considered rare, MSKCC believes that a focus on rare cancers is what will unlock the genetic codes and provide a cure for all cancers.
Can you imagine a day when cancer is just a memory? I certainly can. That's why, for the 6th year in a row, I will ride a spinning bike for "Cycle for Survival" to raise money for cancer research.
Would you please join us by making a tax-deductible donation to MSKCC's "Cycle for Survival"? Every dollar raised will go toward the treatment of rare cancers.
Because of tireless research and a commitment to finding a cure, Brad lived a full 16 months and touched many lives. He was able to coach football, do homework with his teenage sons, and witness his daughter graduating from college. Today, many other 'terminal' cancer patients are not only surviving, but thriving and living much longer.
Will you please join us as we WIN THE DAY, every day, until there's a cure?
