Fundraising Goal
Donor List

I'm raising money for rare cancer research. Will you join me by making a donation? Your gift will directly help people who have few, if any, treatment options. Through Cycle for Survival, progress is accelerating. We arm scientists with the resources to explore pioneering ideas, discover new therapies, and collaborate to find the next breakthrough.

I started supporting Cycle for Survival in 2011 and began riding in 2017 in support of my friend Sue who passed away in 2016 after a brave 5 year battle with glioblastoma. I also ride to support my friend Tim who courageously beat Stage 3 esophageal cancer in 2015 and battled neuroendocrine cancer for the last two years. Unfortunately, there are no more treatment options for his cancer and Tim is currently receiving hospice care. I ride for all of us who know or have known someone with a rare cancer, so that more treatments can be developed and someday those cancers will be a thing of the past.

One hundred percent of the money raised at Cycle for Survival goes directly to fund research. At the event physicians tell stories about how the money from Cycle for Survival funds their research and how the treatments they develop directly save lives. We also hear stories from very brave cancer survivors who credit their recoveries in part to the treatments developed from Cycle for Survival funding. This is a cause where your support will truly make a difference.

Some important information to consider:

50% of People with Cancer Have a Rare Cancer
When combined, about half of all patients fighting cancer are fighting a rare cancer. These are cancers we know — such as leukemia, lymphoma, thyroid, ovarian, brain, pancreatic, and all pediatric cancers — yet research is largely underfunded.

100% Goes to Lifesaving Research Led by MSK
Every dollar you give will advance innovative studies and clinical trials led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). Discoveries made by MSK revolutionize how cancer is diagnosed and treated, helping patients across the country and around the world.

6 Months for Fast Impact
Not only does every dollar go to research, your gift will be in the hands of doctors and researchers within six months of the events. As a donor, you will learn about the projects supported and the breakthroughs made.

Thank you for your support!
