JOIN THE BATTLE. GIVE TO BEAT RARE CANCERS.
Riding for my Mom
Dear loved ones,
On February 12, 2017, I participated in my first Cycle for Survival as an extreme rider. The days leading up to this ride were filled with excitement and enthusiasm as donations were coming in feverishly, helping me to meet my goal. My name is etched on the Cycle for Survival Wall at Memorial Sloan Kettering. I was proud to say "I JOINED THE BATTLE!" On ride day, Equinox, Rockefeller Center was filled with hundreds of riders, family, friends, staff, and volunteers fueled with adrenaline, riding or cheering, laughing or crying, we ALL did our part to JOIN THE BATTLE!
In 2017, Cycle for Survival's 7,000 bikes, cycled by 31,000 riders in 16 cities, with 212,000 donors raised $34 Million to aid rare cancer research led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Since Cycle for Survival was founded by Jennifer Goodman Linn in 2007, $140 MILLION has been raised, with 100% of all proceeds to MSKCC.
February 11, 2018 I will be riding my second EXTREME ride for this amazing cause. I'm riding for my Mother, Theresa who, at the age of 67 lost her battle after 45 days. Terry was so full of life. Her spirit lives on in all of us. Her determination and strength is what fuels me today. We love you Mommy, and miss you every day.
So please JOIN THE BATTLE, and make a donation. No matter how large, or how small, every dollar will be counted toward rare cancer research 100%.
I’m raising money for rare cancer research with Cycle for Survival. Join me in this fight by making a donation. It's something we can all do to make a difference for those battling cancer.
Here’s how your gift will make an impact:
50% of People with Cancer Have a Rare Cancer
When combined, rare cancers make up approximately half of patients fighting cancer. Rare cancers—such as leukemia, lymphoma, thyroid, ovarian, pancreatic, and pediatric cancers—are diseases we all know. These patients often face little to no treatment options because rare cancer research is underfunded.
100% Goes to Lifesaving Research Led by MSK
Cycle for Survival is the movement to beat rare cancers. Every dollar you give will advance innovative research and clinical trials led by Memorial Sloan Kettering. This work has the power to revolutionize how cancer is diagnosed and treated worldwide.
6 Months for Fast Impact
Your gift will be in the hands of doctors and researchers within six months of the events. There’s no time to waste: with your help, new discoveries will be made each year.
Thank you for your support!
