Attention kids!  Join us for the 4th Annual Sunshine Striders 1-Mile Fun Run to raise awareness and funding for Cycle for Survival and rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering alongside Team Pedaling Sunshine.

Bring your sneakers and your fast feet to 208 Longwood Ave. in Chatham on Saturday, September 29th. Parking is available at Chatham High School.  The fun run will begin at 4:00

Why did we put together this kids event? Ask my kids...

Hello again, my name is Ryan Leach.  You might remember this run from last year.  Well, guess what?!  It's happening again on September 29th so be ready to give it your all!  If you did this last year, you know what to expect.  If you didn’t, here’s the deal:  you will run one lap around my block (one mile), you will get a shirt and a medal, and after the race there will be food, face painting, bounce houses, music and more fun!

Four years ago my mom fought a rare cancer. She beat it, and now we're raising money for research to find cures so that more people can beat cancer. My brother, Tyler, and I hope to see you there.

Cycle for Survival is an indoor cycling event for adults, which raises money to fight rare cancers. Since kids can’t reach the pedals on a spin bike yet, we put together this event so they could be a part of the battle too.  Just like the fundraising for Cycle for Survival, EVERY DOLLAR raised by the Sunshine Striders will go straight to rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering, where doctors are working hard to find a cure.

The event is free. There is a suggested donation of $25 per participant. Non-walkers can participate by stroller pushed by parent. T-shirts are only guaranteed to those who registered on or before September 15th.

Once registered for the event, please remind your friends and family to go to www.sunshinestriders.com to support your efforts, or to join the event too.  Remember, every dollar goes directly to promising cancer research.

We thank you all for your incredible support!
