JOIN THE BATTLE. Beat Rare Cancers.
I am so very excited that my Mitzvah Project will be a special Cycle for Survival ride on Friday, November 16th at 5:00 p.m. The ride wiill be led by the amazing Lisa Gagliardi -- if you have not spun with her yet, you are in for an awesome, fun, and inspiring ride.
All 50 of the bikes in the spin room at Equinox in Armonk will be for "sale" for $100 a piece. While I hope that you will all buy a bike and ride with me, if you are unable to attend, any/all donations to my ride will be greatly appreciated! As many of you know, Cycle for Survival is partnered with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and 100% of every dollar raised goes directly toward rare cancer research.
Cycle for Survival has special and significant meaning to my family, so it was a no-brainer to take this on as my Mitzvah Project. I hope that with all of your help, I can raise a lot of money to help all of the people fighing rare cancers, and in honor of those who lost their battles.
Why this matters:
50% of People with Cancer Have a Rare Cancer
When combined, about half of all patients fighting cancer are fighting a rare cancer. These are cancers we know — such as leukemia, lymphoma, thyroid, ovarian, brain, pancreatic, and all pediatric cancers — yet research is largely underfunded.
100% Goes to Lifesaving Research Led by MSK
Every dollar you give will advance innovative studies and clinical trials led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). Discoveries made by MSK revolutionize how cancer is diagnosed and treated, helping patients across the country and around the world.
Join me (buy a bike) or make a donation today. Your efforts will fight cancer and make a real impact for people who have few, if any, treatment options. As a donor, you will learn about the projects supported and the breakthroughs made.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support!
With soooooooo much love and appreciation,
*******IF YOU WANT TO RIDE WITH ME (RATHER THAN JUST MAKE A DONATION), PLEASE INDICATE THAT (AND THE NUMBER OF BIKES) IN THE "NOTES" SECTION OF THE EVENT PAGE WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR DONATION.
