JOIN THE BATTLE. Beat Rare Cancers.

Julie Gleeman, loving wife for 31 years and mother of 3, passed away from Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma, ACC, at the young age of 58.

All of the donations raised through Cycle for Survival will directly fund lifesaving research for rare cancers, such as hers. Julie was treated for ACC by Dr. Ho who leads the research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Here is an example of the ACC research led by Dr. Ho that Cycle for Survival has helped fund:

Please view the discoveries below Cycle for Survival has made possible for patients with ACC:

Drug Trials for a Salivary Gland Cancer with No Previously Proven Treatment

Salivary Gland Cancer - Adenoid cystic carcinoma

The Battle: No standard proven treatments are available for this cancer, which often spreads to other parts of the body.

Cycle for Survival funded... Trials for two drugs designed to interfere with tumor growth that had yet to be tested with this form of rare cancer.

And now... Dr. Ho is using several methods, including analyzing tumor tissue, to help develop for the first time viable options for patients that previously had none.
