Hey there, Liev Fründe, ciao ciao ragazzi!

Welcome to the 'All the Way, Boys' team page. 'All the Way, Boys' is a team set up by Thomas Greiber and Oliver Zivanovic to participate in the 2014 TCS NYC Marathon.

We are life-long friends who first met in kindergarden, where a little fight in the sand pit turned out to be the start of an ever-lasting friendship, not only between ourselves but also our families.

Our team name 'All the Way, Boys' is inspired by an Italian comedy from 1973 (Oliver's year of birth) staring two true heroes of our childhood, Terence Hill and Bud Spencer... ;) The film name in English 'All the Way, Boys', its German translation 'Zwei Himmelhunde auf dem Weg zur Hölle', and the original Italian name 'Più forte, ragazzi' perfectly reflect the necessary attitude for our 2014 NYC Marathon challenge.

Even more so, we are 100% sure that Salud and Plata, the two main characters of the movie, would've strongly supported our team's mission and joined us in:

Making an Impact in the Fight Against Cancer.

We're now joining the fight against cancer by running the TCS NYC Marathon with Fred’s Team, Memorial Sloan Kettering’s (MSK) marathon program. The program raises money to fund lifesaving research at MSK—and we’re proud to be part of the team!

Running for Good Reasons.

To advance cancer research and care. Oliver has dedicated his professional life to curing people from cancer.

'I want to make lifesaving discoveries at MSK, but cancer research is costly!'

To honor our friends and family touched by cancer. Thomas is an environmental lawyer who works for the conservation of nature at the international level. But he lost his mother Elke, and his mother and father in law—Gisela and Helmut—to cancer. Close friends equally suffered losing their loved ones to cancer.

'This is my way of fighting back and making a difference.'

To bring renewed hope to those affected by cancer worldwide. Together, Thomas and Oliver have a dream.

'We want to imagine a world without cancer.'

We hope You will be able to support our team's mission by making a donation to our TCS NYC Marathon race. Together, we can make an even bigger impact!!!

Our goal is to raise as much money as we can (at least $7.000,00) for MSK's doctors, researchers and patients, who believe with us in a world without cancer.

Thank You so much in advance, and don't forget: keep on 'Flying Through the Air' like Salud and Plata, aka Thomas and Oliver!
