Welcome to Avraham Azrieli's Personal Page

Name: Avraham Azrieli
Event: TCS New York City Marathon
Date: November 4, 2018

Our goal this year is to raise money and make an impact in the fight against cancer in honor of two beloved family members we lost recently:

Our brother-in-law, Avraham "Tsutsu” Davidovich, who passed away in March 2015 at age 55. Tsutsu was diagnosed two years earlier with stage four lung cancer. He never smoked and lived a healthy life with his wife, Iris (Avi's sister), raising seven wonderful children and building a family business. Tsutsu was a loving, energetic and a truly righteous man. He is dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Our mother-in-law, Edda Mayor - Meller, who passed way in November 2017 at the age of 61 after a courageous struggle with colon cancer. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister, full of energy and love for her extended family. Edda was a true peoples' person, spreading her ready smile and generous spirit far and wide. Her memory remains vivid in the hearts of all her family and friends, who continue to miss her dearly.

We hope that future research and new treatments will one day save the lives of patients like Tsutsu and Edda, and prevent the devastating grief of losing the people we love. That's why I'm running and raising money with Fred's Team to support critical cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

By donating to my race, you can help give doctors and researchers at MSK the funding they need to make groundbreaking discoveries and conduct lifesaving clinical trials. Every dollar raised is another great stride towards progress—and brings us one step closer to a world without cancer.
