JOIN THE BATTLE. GIVE TO BEAT RARE CANCERS.
Family and friends,
I'm raising money for Cycle for Survival—the movement to beat rare cancers.
Rare cancers are more common than you think. You may be surprised to learn that leukemia, ovarian, brain, and pancreatic cancers are considered rare, as are all pediatric cancers, and hundreds of others. They make up about half of all cancer diagnoses. But many people with these diseases have limited or no treatment options at all. Too many incredible friends and loved ones have had to battle this disease and Cycle for Survival is one organization doing great work to fund rare cancer research.
I have been fortunate enough to meet the founders and administrators of this organization and have been a rider for four years. This year, I am increasing my support and commitment by leading a team as a team captain for the ride here in Boston in February.
I know I have a lot of friends in cities that don’t have a local ride (because the ride is sponsored by Equinox so limited to cities with Equinox gyms) but money raised goes to advance research and clinical trials led by Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York and has the power to revolutionize how cancer is diagnosed and treated EVERYWHERE.
Whats most impressive to me about this organization is that 100%! Of ALL donations go straight to research within 6 months of the event.
In this season of giving, I hope you will consider joining me in this fight by making a donation. I know everyone is bombarded with giving opportunities, but no amount is too small and it’s as easy as providing your credit card info.
Here are the details:
You can Donate to my ride today by going to my fundraising page, and making a fully tax-deductible donation.
100% of every dollar you give goes directly to Memorial Sloan Kettering, one of the world's top cancer research institutions, to fund groundbreaking clinical trials and research studies.
Working together, we can make a real difference in the lives of rare cancer patients and their families.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. Thank you in advance for your support!
Season’s Greetings wishing you a Happy Healthy New Year.
