IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT CANCER
Fred’s Team, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's (MSK) athletic fundraising program, is dedicated to moving us closer to a world without cancer.
RITA O'CONNOR KENNELLY
On May 31, 2017, Rita O'Connor Kennelly (ROCK) lost her courageous battle to a very rare and incurable form of cancer known as Plasmablastic Lymphoma. She was 51 years old. Rita was truly the ROCK of our family and friends. Her life was defined by her healthy lifestyle and the principles and values that guided her. She led by example through humility, empathy, dignity, integrity, and grace, and was admired by many for her quiet and inner strength, which became even more evident during her most courageous battle. Rita loved the Arts and worked selflessly as an art therapist sharing her love while touching many lives who will never forget her. She was truly a role model for those who knew her. Although her life ended way too short, her legacy will live on for many years to come.
SUPPORT LIFESAVING RESEARCH
ROCK's Road Crew, led by Rita's husband Steve and t28heir three children - Ryan, Lia, and Mary will be running the New Jersey Marathon and 1/2 Marathon on April 29, 2019, raising money to support critical LYMPHOMA CANCER RESEARCH at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). Our 'Crew' is committed to making a difference in the lives of countless people touched by cancer.
You can help give doctors and researchers at MSK the funding they need to make groundbreaking discoveries and conduct lifesaving clinical trials. Every dollar raised is another great stride towards progress—and brings us one step closer to a world without cancer.
