I was six weeks pregnant with Leo when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. It was a stressful time — but thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York, I believed I was receiving the best care possible. It's been over three years now, and I'm fine, cancer-free.

I'm so grateful — grateful for having a curable version of this disease, for MSK, for having a healthy son. Now I want to give back to those who need it.

On May 5, I will participate — with my kids — in this year’s MSK Kids Walk for kids with cancer. We will be part of the crowd in Central Park walking to raise money for the fight against pediatric cancer.

Please support this critical cause by donating any amount you feel comfortable to my walk. I know you see a lot of posts like this one every day asking for help for many valuable efforts, so any amount you can give will be deeply appreciated.

I'm excited to share with you that 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to the Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where more kids with cancer are treated than at any hospital in the United States.

Every single dollar you donate will help! Your gift gives doctors and researchers what they need to discover new and better preventive and treatment options, not only at MSK, but around the world. Thank you for reading and listening and supporting!

Thank you!
