Make an Impact in the Fight Against Cancer

I am joining the fight by running the TCS New York City Marathon with Fred's Team. My goal is to raise as much money as I can for lifesaving cancer research led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's (MSK) doctors and researchers.

Why I Run

To honor my friends and family members touched by cancer. This year I will be running in memory of my father (Guillermo Chacon, Sr.), my father-in-law (Scott Raybuck), my maternal grandmother (Virginia Rodríguez), my wife's maternal grandmother (Nancy Pavlicko), and my dearest friend's daughter (Maria Isabel Pozuelo). They lost their battle against cancer and this is my way to honor and remember them. I also want to celebrate my mother's (Virginia) and my friend's (Doug) triumph over cancer last year. They are my champions and my inspiration.

To Advance Cancer Research and Care

The money I raise through Fred's Team supports groundbreaking studies and clinical trials that impact the cancer community worldwide.

To Bring Hope to Those Affected by Cancer

I can imagine a world without cancer. The answer is out there, we just need to help doctors and researchers find it.

Make a Donation

Maker a gift to my TCS New York City Marathon race. Your donation will help make important progress possible—giving hope to so many patients and their loved ones. Support my race—and together, we can make an impact.

Thank you!!
